About Jenny Silber Butah LMFT
From a spiritual reality, I believe that we humans are "gems of inestimable value". Coming to therapy to learn about your own gem-like nature is an act of great courage. I ask curious questions and wonder about non-verbal signals, so that you may safely explore the depth and breadth of your own nature. My background is in Process Oriented Psychology (with Jungian roots), Developmental Psychology, Communications theory,and Family Systems work.
I have many years of working with Asperger's syndrome, bipolar disorder, and complex family and couple issues. I work with children from pre-school onward, using sandtray, art, and games. Additionally, I have in- depth experience doing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, which is a fascinating modality for promoting self-knowledge.
I welcome multi-generational family groups, as well as non-traditional families who want to understand themselves better and function at a higher level.
